We get some California waves to open episode two – AND THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE “IN THE CURL” OF BRANDON IN THE WAVE.
Oh wait.. just a dream sequence.
Coincidence or…. Brenda and Brandon share a bathroom, ala Brady Bunch.
933 Hillcrest Drive, Beverly Hills 90210 – if you want to mail anything to the Walsh family… which happens to be a new house from the pilot.
Brenda resembles a rectangle, I think she has eaten too many pop tarts. Stick to the kiwi, 12 calories a slice.
Cast has stepped down off their uber-preppy style, maybe to be more relatable.
Scott has swapped his James Worthy cartoon tshirt for a Magic Johnson cartoon tshirt, I have to ask if this loser just showed up everyday and was put on the show in whatever he was wearing. What’s he up to now?
From Wikipedia: Douglas Emerson “He gave up acting to join the military forces. In 2002, he was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was assigned to Holloman AFB in New Mexico.
Emerson now works for a company called Home Alliance, for which he manages properties that are rent-to-own.”
EW.
Dylan McKay appears on the scene to defend Scott from “jocks” – still a relevant cultural nuance of the day, before the jock – nerd alliance against freakz in the mid 90s. His James Dean vibe is laughably imposed on the audience. It just shows how wack the rest of the cast was at this point, that this dude rolls in and takes over. His condescending attitude smokes everyone else, particularly Brandon, who will forever be in his footsteps from this point on. So to summarize –
Dylan – Alpha
Brandon – Beta
